Things To Remember
A Pair Of Sandals
Don’t forget your sandals! One thing we pride ourselves on is cleanliness. Help us keep it that way by not wearing outside footwear in the academy. Bare feet are only permitted on the mat!
Water Bottle
No Water. No Life. We have plenty of h2o but we also take our recycling serious, so it’s a bring your own bottle kind of party. Additional drinks are available in the academy pro shop.
Workout Shirt
(Nylon / Polyester)
Cotton material becomes loose, sweaty and a safety concern when grappling. Make sure and bring a tight fitting shirt made for physical exercise. We also have some great options in the pro shop.
First Time Visiting?
Don’t sweat it, our academy is full of beginners and advanced students alike!
We Pride ourselves on our community and everyone remembers what it was like their first time. So don’t be surprised if you are greeted with smiling faces and hand shakes, it’s just the way we roll!

JIU – JITSU ETIQUETTE
If we were to look up the definition of the word etiquette we would see this – “the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group.”
This is especially true in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We don’t have too many rules, but the ones we do have mean a great deal to us.
No Shoes or Bare Feet
Outside footwear is not permitted inside of the academy. Also, no bare feet at any time while off the mats.
Personal Items & Trash
Please do not forget to pickup trash and / or personal items after class.
Privacy Policy
Please no video recording or picture taking without permissoin. Especially during live training.
Loud Noises
Please be considerate when classes are in session. Absolutely no coaching!
Respect Everyone
Always respect, encourage and educate your training partners.
Parental Supervision
Children not participating in class MUST be supervised.
Class Format & What To Expect
1. Lineup, Stretch & Warmup
Bow Before you step on the mat. Line up according to rank.
2. Technique & Practice
Sit or stand in good posture. Asking questions is encouraged and so is taking notes.
3. Live Sparring & Situational Drills
If you are new to Jiu Jitsu, sit back and watch. This is where the fun begins!

Our Academy is located at the following address:

If you are new to our academy or the area, this map view of our address can prove to be useful. The red line indicates our property entrance.
When you arrive you will need to pull into the parking lot and drive past the brick building and gated entry. We are located on your left side toward the end of the parking lot.
All of our students, free trials and Day Pass holders are required to sign in via iPad stations located next to the academy entrance. They will be located to your right after you walk in.
To help streamline the process, please begin by selecting “Sign Up > Free Trial”. Our system will request some basic information and then prompt you to sign a waiver of liability. Once you have completed the entire process, please feel free to take a seat, soak in the vibes and wait for a staff member to assist you.
